3Dmark question

I know 3Dmark isnt the best tool to use for finding out how good your system does and since Iv always gotten lower then agv scores for my system compared to the same I was wondering...

How many here use driver settings that they would use in games? I know that somes will set everything to slow the graphics suck but then they get a high score. I tend to use 2x/8x AA/AF and all quality settings set to high.

Does anyone else use the same settings they use for games or does everyone turn it all down just for a higher 3dmark score?

Personally, I just use the default settings because a higher score in 3DMark2001/2003/2005 really makes my day (I have no life, obviously!).

I also use default setting but this is only to make my score comparable to others with similar specs. So if there is something wrong with my setup, I would know what to compare it to.

You can use Aquamark for testing your Video card, PCMARK2004 for CPU, also Sandra2004 for indetail computer benchmark, and comparison.
