3DMark Problems and stuff

When I run 700E @ 933, 3DMark2000 v1.1 exits and goes back to Windows. It's at 933 with 1.7v, should I just bump up my voltage? Any suggestions to why this is happening? Is anybody else having this problem? My friend has the same problem with his 700E too, we can't figure it out. The test runs fine at 700. Also, when I'm at 933, my comp is stable, I can play games like Q3A. Thanks for any help and/or suggestions.

Another question, I want to try a gigahertz, but dont know what voltage I should run at for it to boot up and be stable. What have any of you that have gone to 1000+ from a 700E suggest and have done. Thanks again.

Do you play any D3D games?? 3dMark uses D3D for it's 3d rendering. Your computer may not be stable enough to run the D3D engines. Q3A uses OpenGL.

You can try bumping up the voltage, or turning the FSB down a notch.

yes, bump up the voltage. Being a "pro" overclocker, i have noticed that 3dmark is a good stability test or over-overclocker test. When overclocked too much, but not too much, 3d mark will kick you out. If you can run regular programs which dont need graphics and stuff, then you should bump up that voltage.
