3Dmark problem

I installed the Forceware 81.95 drivers the other day and when I ran 3Dmark 03 and 05, I noticed that there were some split-second drops in my framerate. It seems to run faster than before in general by a small margin, but because of those drops, my scores are lower (3Dmark 05; before 81.95- 4123, w/ 81.95- 4109 and 03; before 81.95- 10021, w/ 81.95- 9807). This is the first time I have experienced these drops. Any ideas?

eh, a 100pt variation is expected. try again and your score will be different. also make sure you dont have progs open eating up ram. I did a same clock, same software variation(as close as i could get it) 3 time and it was within a 80 pt range. it really depends but there are standard deviations for 3dmark tests.

how much ram is free? low free ram will cause lower framerate.
