Here's my score for the rig below (3930k @4.6Ghz) and both R9-290s (Water cooled) at 1100core/1485 memory.

Thanks AdamK47! Holy smokes! You have a 11117 score. I see you are in 5th place. How can a 3930k chip be in second place? Regardless of the video card setup, I question how that chip can do it.

My "paltry" 5326 score is not near the top 100. You need over 5803 to crack that list.

Suffice it to say that for the $$$ I spent on the 290s + waterblocks, I'm pleased. Especially since the 4k score supports the theory that I have a playable gaming rig at 4k resolutions.

The guy in fourth place has his CPU clocked much higher than I do and his 980s are clocked much higher as well. Still, only 3 points separate us. Not sure how I pulled that off.

Hmm, I guess I'll wait for a steam sale on 3Dmark. I don't feel like buying it for one score. Too bad since I'm probably going to return my 4k monitor due to a pixel issue.

Is that OC'd on the 980's or stock?

Overclocked, but not by too much on the cores -- 1367, and they were throttling down to 1354 in spots. The VRAM was at 8000, and the CPU at 4.2GHz.

It's a new build that's still work in process, so I don't have the final overclocks dialed in and tested yet.

Very nice score for a single GTX 980 RVenger. That 3930k you sold me is performing very well. Using an Asus Sabertooth X79 mb and custom water cooling.
I see you have jumped to a 5820k!

I am very happy with this 5820k. Also my run above was at 4ghz, my everyday OC.

A pixel? Can you see a bad pixel on a 4k display?

It's part of a row of pixels which flicker or flash white every now and then.
