Retail xp 2500+ o/c to 2.2 gig with 1.85 vcore.

fsb 200 and 200 mhz for ddr. ddr voltage set 3.3 volts.

mobo is dfi infinity ultra

cpu markings are AQYFA 0410RPMW

the system boots at 2.2 gig, ran sandra works fine,

but 3dmark2k3/2k1 both crash, so does UT2003.

ram timings right now are 8-3-3-2.5

what do i need to do to get 3dmark03 run flawlessly on this.

do I need to bump up vcore, ddr voltage?

all help appreciated. thanks. :)

well first you need to find out what is unstable, it could either be the cpy speed, fsb, or the ram. What I would do is run prime95 and see if that gives any errors. If it does give an error and it should if other programs are crashing, first try lowering the cpu multiplier. Lower it until you're down to about 1.8ghz. If it becomes stable then you know it's the cpu speed that was too high and try 2.0ghz, 2.1, ect untill you find the max speed that's still stable. However if it's still unstable with even a low multiplier then try lowering both the ram and fsb keeping a 1:1 ratio down to 166. If that makes the system stable then try upping the fsb and ram a bit at a time untill you find the max fsb it will run stable.

If it's a new XP2500, you may be out of luck. Not all of them are making it to 200mhz these days.:(

You either need more vcore or better cooling. What kind of heatsink do you have on there.
You should put that corsair at 2-3-3-11 and bump the vdimm too.
