I just got the Sapphire 9800 NP and flashed with Pro bios. After that I overclocked it a bit.. running at 415/690. I'm on a Athlon XP 1700+ @ 2.3ghz. I ran 3dmark 2001 and got nearly 17k. Does that sound right? I thought it would be a bit higher. I running the latest Radeon Omega drivers.

Yeah that does seem a bit low. It seems like you'd be getting closer to 20k with that setup. I wouldn't worry though as long as games play ok.

i dont think so. you would need a p4C atleast at 3.6 to break 20K. i have a 2500+@3200, 9800 pro at stock and it does about 17,700 so your score is right on track

I think it should be over 17k, but not much. But it is really close, so nothing is wrong. My 9800pro score is in sig.
