3D Mark 2000 used to run without a problem on my old system. The new hardware is in bold.
P3-667 EB (133MHz FSB) (running at standard speed)
256Mb PC133 CL2 RAM
30 Gb 7200rpm Maxtor drive
ATi Rage 128 Fury 32Mb (now ATi Radeon VE)
Windows 98 (now Windows 2000)
The problem is, that the demo just will not run. It starts, you get the 3Dfiles.com splash screen. The music is playing in the background. As soon as its time for the village scene to come in, no visuals are present. The music continues to run, however the monitor goes into standby mode (ie: no video output).
The benchmark runs for about 2 seconds (the first helicopter test) and then crashes.
Any ideas? I am using the stock drivers (the ones that came on the install CD) as any updated drivers refuse to install, claiming that the drivers aren't suitable for my card.
