hello. i decided to run a loop test all night and to my surprise when i woke up my computer froze hard...i must have been running it for like 5 hours or so. i just don't get it. my cpu is not even overclocked. here are my specs:
Windows ME
P3-600E (not overclocked)with Golden Orb
ASUS P3V4X MOBO with latest 4in1 drivers from VIA
384 MB PC-100 RAM
SOUND BLASTER LIVE!
Viper 770 (TNT2) with 6.31 Official Reference Drivers running at 4X AGP using registry hack
AGP fast writes is enabled in BIOS along with AGP 4X
Can't seem to pinpoint the problem...unless maybe the Golden Orb is not doing a good job of cooling my CPU....or maybe it's the video card...I even manually attached a fan to the video card to keep it cool. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
