All this in itself is pretty intresting... then on page 3:
(probably just some guy spreading lies but non the less)
HD6970: X1807

It ll be fun to see if any of these if these scores are real.

HD6870 nor GTX580 is even breaking X2000 points in DX11....Extrapolating Vantage scores of 13,000 for GTX580, these cards are probably benching <10 fps in every game test. 😵 As expected, looks like we will need 2nd-3rd generation DX11 cards to play DX11 games.

I wonder why the score for 6850 seems rather low relative to the 5830. Otherwise, the relative performance differences between the cards are more or less in-line.

The 6850 looks inline with the 460 though. Its more like the 5830 looks too high.

I'm getting it for free through eVGA on the 30th. Wish I could run it now though.

Recent promotion with a purchase or available to buyers of certian models in their lineup?

I picked up two games on my evga card that weren't noted when I bought the card after I did some investigating on their website.

The screenshots really look amazing. Not surprised if its a slideshow on current mid-upper range cards.

Which is why I'm really excited for 28nm. The video card I got a few months ago for damn cheap is working out as a GREAT stop gap but I can't wait until 28nm cards are out because I'm going to do a full system upgrade then. I've been piecing out random stuff this past year that won't need to be upgraded for a long time (monitor, PSU, keyboard/mouse) but I'm looking forward to getting a new motherboard, processor, ram, video card, and if budget permits, hard drive.

Is 3Dmark11 not going to be free?

From what I gathered at futuremark, 3DMark11 will have a free version that can be run indefinatly to achieve a score. I'm sure there will be limits on settings with the free version though.

Similar to 3DMark06, but thankfully not handled like Vantage.

That echoes my thoughts for the future of a pc gaming rig as well. I'm still not sold on SSD though. I'd much rather put the money into CPU/VC
