3dfx waranty??????

Hi
There are a lot of 3dfx cards out in the stores yet.
If someone buys one,,, will the warranty on the card still be in effect??? I read that 3dfx was bought out by nvidia and was wondering if anyone has any info on the warranty coverages on the remaining 3dfx video cards.

Nope. No warranty. There is some software support available from a company 3dfx is outsourcing support for but as far as hardware support is concerned, there is none. NVIDIA didn't buy out 3dfx. They just bought their intellectual property much like Iomega did for Syquest. This way, they don't have to absorb 3dfx's liabilities, mainly support for Voodoo boards.
