SAN JOSE, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- 3dfx Interactive® Inc. (Nasdaq: TDFX - news) today announced the completion of its merger with GigaPixel Corporation. The merger was approved by the Company's shareholders at its Annual Meeting held on July 19 at the Company's headquarters in San Jose. Following completion of the merger, George T. Haber, a founder of GigaPixel, and Andrei M. Manoliu, a member of the GigaPixel Board of Directors, were elected to join the Company's Board of Directors. See below for link.

Not exactly - it was way old that they were going to merge, but it's today's news that they completed the merger and that the merger was approved by shareholders.
