On a previous WinXP Pro installation on my friend's machine; I was easily able to install the official 3dfx Win2k drivers for a Voodoo3 3000 PCI. After fixing a directory issue, I decided I wanted to format and start with a fresh installation. Now, the official drivers give me an error (unable to register some dll file) every time I try to install them.
I know there are several third-party beta WinXP drivers available for the Voodoo3 3000 PCI, but I don't know which one is the best to use. Which driver will give my friend the most stability and reliability, but still have support for Glide, Direct3D, and OpenGL?
