3D Y/C Separation

I'm looking at two PCI TV cards. One is $40 and the other is $80. The only benefit provided to me by the $80 card is that it has 3D Y/C separation. How much better will my picture be if I have 3D Y/C separation? Is it worth the extra $40?
 
if you have a very large display, it might be worth it....otherwise if you just want to watch tv occasionally, get the 40$ one...
