I am at my wit's end here. I installed the latest 304 beta drivers for the MSI 670PE I got last night. I try to set up 3Dvision and it refuses to run at 1080p 24Hz. It will run at 720P/60Hz but my screen looks like its in greyscale like when you boot into safemode. Could it be that the 3d signal cannot pass through the Pioneer receiver to my 3D TV?

I have never had problems doing 3D with AMD cards, which is why I went with the 7970 in the first place. But that sucker crapped out on other reasons, so decided to give nvidia one more shot!

if your setup worked with amd 3d, then it probably won't work with nvidia.

nvidia has their own list of supported monitors and glasses.

well both my Samsung 3D TV and my Pioneer Receiver are on the list of comaptible devices for 3D Vision/3D TV Play, so I dont know whats the problem. Its not like 3D option is disabled, it just wont work as intended.

Any reason you're using beta drivers? Probably not a big deal but just out of curiosity.

ok progress, kinda. I tried the ESPN 3D channel on Directv which used to work great, and even that is now showing the same behavior. There is a 3D effect but pink and blue distortions in the center of the picture. So its either my tv or the hdmi cable connecting the receiver to the tv. I will check further once I get home from work.
