I need to create a 3d animation for an assemply line at work. I have minimal experience with 3dmax 4 but i have 2 weeks. Where can i start to get resources and learn.

Please help anyway that you can, whether you have know of libraries or resources that could be of use to me. A good book to buy?

Also this is my system....

AMD 1.33 Ghz
512MB DDR RAM
Geforce 3

Do I need more RAM? SHould i delete win98 and install win2k?
