3D Sound Enhancements

What software do you use to enhance the output of 3D sound? For Winamp I use DFX 5, works well but is there something better?

I have an onboard AC97 sound (disabled) and currently using a Yamaha YMF744 sound card and a 3 speaker setup (2 speakers & 1 subwoofer). I've never really been into sound performance, but when I built my K7 1.33ghz DDR system a few weeks ago, I'm beginning to appreciate playing MP3's during games, and hearing a much richer sound. Are there any links I can go in order to enhance my sound performance both for MP3's, DVD's, and Gaming?? Thanks.
 
I just use Liveware 3, works pretty good. I don't know where you can get new enhancements though, if you buy a new sound card like the GXTP or Santa Cruz they bring some pretty good programs for that kind of stuff. SBLive is kinda old now, but I still use mine cuz its still good and I love the Live Drive.
