3D Prophet 4500 load up problem on win2k (HELP)

Hi all, I been having a great time with my Prophet 4500 with gaming, I definatly would reccomend this board to anyone, give it a test try for yourself and you will see what I mean! Anyways, I am posting this post because I been having bit of a pet peeve when I installed this card. After when I installed the divers on a new freshly reformated windows 2K machines, the load up time for windows 2k is just not right, it. When win2k ask me for a password, I type it in. Then it takes about 20 second or more to load up, also in the process the Prohet 4500 Logo pops up like a splash screen. I know this is not how long windows 2k laods because when I had a voodoo 3 in this machines, it loads right in 5 seconds to the desktop, no waiting. When I install other programs the Logo splash screen just comes up again. Did I do anything wrong? or is there a fix for it? BTW I have a athlon 1.3/FSB200 on a ABIT BOARD... KT&A-RAid <--- I don't reccomed this board to anyone working with win2k it is horrible, especially with the VIA4 in1 Drivers, and I can't install SP2 on it!

Thanks in Advance!

If you go into the Support Centre(section that allows you to resize and adjust screen position on the monitor) in the display properties there should be an option to disable the splash screen.

I have also an hercules 4500 with those via drivers and win2k and it boot up fast... I have a duron 900...
the problem could be not from hercules 4500 but from other hardware you may have...

try the device manager and see if there are any problems there...
when I install some hardware that logo appears always..
maybe your win2k is detecting and re-detecting some hardware you may have...
you have some usb device installed ?
maybe the problem is there...I don't know...
