The Realizm wouldn't do so well in 3DMark. A prototype R520 or NV50 (G70?) maybe but not the Wildcat.

Just FYI he's full of crap. I asked him for pictures of his computer and he says he has 7 pairs (14 speakers) of Dayton's around his computer. He posted 1 picture..the back of a freaking denon receiver..and then stopped answering.

That computer is a myth.

Or you can just look HERE. The highest recorded (according to 3DMark and people who submit scores) is 12K. So you've bested that score by over a thousand?

Ok buddy - Still waiting for those pictures you promised.

Link to posted score @ futuremark would do, quite simple.

Anyway,
I didn't even think of running 05 on my laptop, even though its fairly new I knew it wouldn't score over 1000. Let me just say it didn't even reach 200 haha. And I remember playing games like HL2 and UT2k4 with moderate framerates at 800x600 :disgust:

But that was then and this is now.
Sig = 5184, what a difference!

Hey BrokenVisage, are you overclocking or have you tweaked anything out? I have a very similar set up and your score is one of the better one's I've seen for our rigs. Have you done anything?

Yeah I used ATITool too get 432/537, which is the only thing I overclocked so far. At stock speeds I think I got 4800 on the dot. Max core/memory it discovered was around 437/544.

Edit: Actually, we have the same damn LCD too. :p

I am, at least. I just installed the free version and ran that. Any tips for getting a better score? I have a decent system, it just has a slow hard drive and a slightly older video card. I can't upgrade the video card but I'm planning on going to 7200rpm for the hard drive. I'm just using the stock ATI Radeon drivers. I've tried the Omegas before but I had video (DVD) issues so I went back to stock ATI. Oh, and I ran 3D Mark 2005 right after a fresh install too. Oh well, 826 it is! :)

5400+

AXP 2500+ @ 2.2ghz
1GB DDR 400 Geil value
Abit NF7-S 2.0
BFG 6800GT @ 420/1110
XG 71.84 drivers

I was getting 4700+ running the card at 400/1100 and with the official drivers, a little more oc and new drivers boosted me over 700 points.

Quick question:

How many of you are able to run 3dmark05 with Windows XP Service Pack 1 ??

This also means you've been able to install directX 9.0c on XP SP1.

So in otherwords ... 0?

or Null, which is worse :p

STFU n00bs :p

I had to resort to some hacks to get dx9.0c installed on my XPsp1.

And now 3dmark05 has bestowed upon me.... 2188 3dmarks.

wtf can one expect anyway with a 9800pro 128 MB?
