3D mark03 and 05 not showing what they should.

Hi all, I've tried other benchmarks and they work fine(such as Aquamark3 and the source video stress test,playing doom 3 and half-life 2 at there highest settings all no problem), but on 3dmark03 and 05 I get
Slow frames per second.Never above 21,mostly around 7-10.Whats up with that.Does 3d mark just not work on some systems?

My specs are.

Gigabyte 6800 GT 256mb

A64 3500+ 90nm

1gb of Corsair ram ddr400 with 2.5 cas

Any ideas whats wrong.I know it's not a big isure since I can play Half-life 2 and Doom 3 no problems on there highest settings, but i'd still like it to work right on 3dmark.🙂
And I have the latest video drivers.
 
If I am not mistaken, what matters in 3DMark is the final score.
Why don't you compare your final score with those who have a similar system?
