3D MARK STANDARDS???

ok everyone is quick to post and brag about their scores but what settings do ppl use for these?

i usually do 1024x768 with trilinear filtering and no sound... i get 3750ish with my radeon 64...

is this like the genereally accepted settings?

Unless they specifically state otherwise it's pretty safe to assume their using the default settings.

And FWIW, people addicted to 3dmarking go through lengths to tweak their drivers at any expense of visual quality to get higher scores to brag about.

3dm2k, 2k1, and now 2k1se are excellent tools for comparing driver revisions, memory system tweaking, overclocking, etc... but are a bit silly when compared with other people's scores in a sort of competition.

p.s. my 6495 oWnZ j00!

p.s.s. </sarcasm>

Agreed

Yeah, I only benchmark with what I run it under, settings wise. Tweaked for image quality for the most part.

part of the fun is tweaking the driver and the bios settings to c what works best with u'r system. Rather than just sticking the core/mem spd up

do y'all have the registered version? cuz i find that when i enable image quality tests on mine, my score drops around 200 points...

do y'all use this at all? just wondering to see in what ballpark my scores are in?
