3D Mark 2001 Second Edition coming out

I dunno. If they didn't add anything except a few extra tests to 3DMark2001, maybe Second Edition is more appropriate. We'll find out, though.

Yeah, I would think they could come out with a 3dMark2002, too. It is what they do, so create a new one.

3DM2k2 won't be coming until DX9.

Looks like it's just an update to properly detect newer hardware and add one more feature test. Game tests are the same, and scores will remain the same.

3dMark2002 will be coming out as a seperate product to 3dMark2001 SE at a later date (nothing final yet). SE will fix some bugs and also add a few new tests. There might be other stuff coming out too, or they might not, I can't say anything whether that is true or false until the launch, but keep a close eye to what MO is doing and you may find out pretty soon,
