3D Mark 2001 problem??

I recently installed Windows XP Corporate version & just installed the Det 4 drivers for my GF3. When I tried to run 3D Mark 2001 I get this error

I uninstalled the program & reinstalled it with the same result.

WTF is the problem here??

Do you have direct x 8 installed? That looks like the problem.

XP has 8.1 installed by default.

Anybody, or am I the only one that's ever had this problem (that would be my luck)!!
