3D Mark 2001: 2202 with WinME.. now 1800 with WinXP

why why why???

sure WinXP 'feels' more stable (my WinME gave me absoluately no trouble either)
but everything feels so sluggish.. must be the cartoon GUI...

Remember WinXP has not been optimized yet. Give it a year and see what your scores are then.
