3D Mark 2000, or 2001

IS there a issue with 3D Mark 2000 and 2001 and Windows XP?

I get a message claiming that I do not have any Direct X devices. Yet I just installed a Gainward Geforce 3 TI200 128mb.

I have not had a lot of time to mess with this card and I am at work now, so I am looking for ideas.

thanks for any info,

Kyle

This error is fairly common... go to your DirectX utility and disable 3d acceleration.. exit.. reboot and then enable it again. I think that's how it is.. I don't remember 100%.. but that's the jist of it.

<< your card and 3dmark are fine - its WinXP that sux.

(sorry for my honesty)

I have to disagree, XP is way more stable and better for gaming than 98

Thanks for all your help I got it working. Now if I could just improve my score....

I got a 6984 with a Gainward TI200 128mb.
Athlon 1600xp
Epox 8KHA+
512mb Crucial ram
