dunno what's considered good/great scores for 6800gt but the video card is definitely what's holding you back. what drivers you using?

To be honest, you hit the spot on the "normal" range of the 6800GT, anything higher is usually some mild-high overclocking from other ppl w/ similar specs.

That's a lil bit low,bro!! I score 4150 with my 6600GT overclocked...Try the "Nvidia G xtreme HD 80.40 Forceware drivers"
You can download them from www.guru3d.com
Also download Coolbits 2.0 from the same webpage and overclock your 6800GT!!

i assume you've verified core/mem are running @advertised speeds? if so, overclocking it is your only option, if you care that much about your score.

That's correct, my 6800GT @ 400/1050 scores 5,271 with 71.89 Forceware. I should rerun everything with 77.72 and see if things have changed.

*EDIT* About a 100 point increase with 77.72.
