I got 132.9 average fps on Test 4 (Nature) of 3D Mark 01 with the Catalyst 4.12
I have installed the Cat 5.3's, and now I get 86.2.
I've got the graphics card (9800) clocked slightly less not (430MHz core vs 450MHz and the same RAM seed as before), but the CPU overclocked more (2500 vs 2266), and my overall score is about the same (17,000 vs 16,900), but I don't understand why there's such a huge difference in the nature score, especially when performance in all the other tests went up.
Looking at my previous runs, I have ~120 with CPU at 2100, ~130 with CPU at 2300, and then on my run at 2500, it's ~86.
There's nothing on like AA/AF (I checked those), vsync is not on, frame rate does go up to ~160 or more during the test, but the overall rate is very low for no reason I can see unless the 5.3's broke something.
