I've been browsing around ebay and have seen a few different pairs on sale:
E-dimensional, elsa revelator, and PNY
Out of the three, it seems only E-dimensional supports non-nvidia cards, but even in their case, it looks like they are highly optimized for Nvidia, especially because Nvidia has their own stereo drivers, while ATI doesnt.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has ever used these? If so, does the effect really work? Is it a gimmick thats fun to look at but useless, or can you actually play your games with these? The reviews I've seen online seem pleased.
Secondly, if you have used them, was it with an Nvidia card, or somethign else? I'm planning to upgrade from my Geforce3 Ti 200, and was about to buy a Radeon 9700 np or pro, but if these glasses really do work well, and there's a significant difference between how they work on Nvidia vs ATI cards, that might alter my decision. Thanks.
