3D gaming glasses

I saw the new nvidia 3d gaming glasses. My impression was 'the 3d looks somewhat nice, but it seems a lot darker'.

I got 3d glasses several years ago, but they were nottoo easy to get working and I got little use. If I could get these new ones not dark, they might be fun.

What do others think? Nice peripheral? I would be mainly interested in WoW, which they were demoed in.
