3D Gamer/2D Multimedia Designer GF3 Video Blues..Help?

I have a new 1.4 Athlon with an Elsa Gladiac 920 GF3. My problem is that I am a multimedia designer (web site and CD-ROM) BUT I also am an avid gamer. I love the way Elsa handles Max Force, but the 2D is giving me a headache with blurry text and graphics. I use Flash, Director, Photoshop as much as Max Force, Quake, Black & White, etc.

Is it feasible for me to do card swapping with a Matrox? Any slot adaptors that let you toggle between video cards on the fly?

BTW I really notice the problem because I have 4 monitors set up. I had heard good things about the Gladiac 2D but the Radeon is light years sharper at 1280x1024:

1. GF3 on a 19in Viewsonic A95f on the 1.4
2. 2 x 19in VX900s on a Radeon 32DDR dual on my P3-700
3. 15 inch TFT notebook attached to the home network

I hear the r200 from ati is coming out soon, wait for the reviews and if its good at 2d and gaming go for it!

Im running a vtek gf3 on a viewsonic pf790 1280x1024 and it looks great! Crisp 2d!

Well I take back my comments about the Elsa. RMAed the Viewsonic and got a Sony G400. Night and day. All the talk about 2D and Nvidia cards when it WAS the monitor making the difference. Love my son's 17in Viewsonic but I'll never buy another one after this dog.
