It'd be cool if my useless Nintendo Wii actually had 3D. What about XBOX 360? I admit, I haven't seen a 3D movie since 2007, but, then, I was somewhat impressed. Now to have it in my living room would be interesting. But gaming, with the wii mote or PS3 clown penis, would be fun.

3DTV sounds interesting but having just purchased my second HDTV I can't say I'm looking forward to buying another one anytime soon (or having to wear glasses while playing games). Then again, I've yet to see a 3D movie or game in action.

PS3 clown penis

:D The PS3 motion wand must be referred to by this name only from now on.

The PS3 often is only 720o / 30 fps in cross-platform games so I don't see this happening for more than a few first-party titles and some PSN games that don't tax the system much.

> "The 3D Gran Tursimo demo, however, made better use of the 3D despite not looking nearly as crisp as Gran Turismo 5."

I'd rather have better graphics without 3D than PS2-graphics in 3D :)

Avatar was way cool in 3D IMAX.

Most current gen games are limited to 720/30p on both the 360 and PS3. In many cases, you get psudo-1080p resolutions (I'm not sure which but 1440x1080 is common). You want true 1080p for platform games, you have to go PC.

Anyway, I'm not sold on 3DTV. Just too costly for TV networks, other than ESPN who's probably getting the money from the NFL. Working for them is a TV guy's dream as the they have all the best toys.

Microsoft hasn't made a peep about 3D gaming for the 360 but it can handle 3D gaming as well as witnessed by Avatar: The Game.

The Wii just may not have enough power to handle 3D gaming.

Screw it, I'm not wearing welding glasses when I'm trying to relax.
I'll wait for holographics, the technology can adjust to me, not the other way around.

The whole 3DTV thing is kinda funny. I mean what if your watching a 3D program and someone comes over and you don't have an extra pair of glasses?
