3D Files.com shut down for ever

I have downloaded countless files from these guys Their forum (shut down a few months ago)was the first I ever joined.

3DFILES.COM's 4 Year Anniversary

Thanks for visiting our website in the past. It's been a wild ride from no visitors a day to 800,000 people in one day visiting 3DFILES.COM. Our owner, C|Net, has decided to close down 3DFILES.COM due to the current economy and grave expenses 3DFILES.COM requires to operate.

We've been proud to serve each one of the 800,000 unique visitors per day we serve. We've been proud to have 5 TeraBytes per day of data transfers from each server. We've been proud to be able to offer this all for free for so long. We will not be re-opening this site at all, the closing is final -- Unless C|Net decides to re-open of course. The chances are still fairly slim.

Ben can be visited at 3DCOOL.COM and for Tim, you can expect to see him again after a good needed vacation.

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us through the years and we wish you all luck in finding another site to download from -- We know it's not going to be easy.
