I was in Germany not too long ago and saw a monitor at an electronics store. It had a pair of 3D glasses next to them and I tried them on. It was like looking into a 3D hologram (similar to some of the rides at 6 flages etc. etc.). How was this done? Is it the CRT or the Video Card or both? I would love to have something like this.

I believe it has to do with the interweaveing, wait or is the word interleaving, im not sure. There is a geforce that comes with this I think.
I was at a small computer show and there were some guys showing it off

Thanks for the helpful info.

I did a little research on the web and cam across the site below

LINK

Upon clicking on the Archive 7 link below the page, there were many demo that could be downloaded. There are all exe's all can be viewed. I am assuming that given the right CRT/VideoCard/Whatever else, the effects are true 3D.

I would love to know more about this, if anyone else cares to input.

Thanks.

um... my bro has an asus with the 3d and it works great. The way it works is every other frame is for one eye, and the rest are for the other. The glasses, just flicker left-right really fast. In games / 3d apps stuff actually looks 3d. It works great in UT, flight sims and racing games.
