So I have been having problems not getting my 3D vision. Is that my monitor that isn't working I have an old old monitor but i don't know if that's the problem. Cause I can't even play one small game on my pc without that popping up on my screen. And it says fail to find 3D vision or w.e?? If someone can please help me out that would be awesome.

If you really want help, you will have to post more information. Reading your post I have absolutely no idea what is going on with your system.

Name your specs, actually type out the exact error message you get, let us know what drivers you have etc.

Come on people.

Ok sorry about that. Ok well i just downloaded a small game tinker or w.e. So i click on it and this is what it says "an error occured with the 3D display driver. If the problem continues, try restarting your computer". I restarted my computer like 5 times still the same problem. So i just don't know if it would be my monitor cause my monitor is really old?? Or what it is. I do not have a graphics card right know i just have a small chip-set that is halfway decent.

OK. I'm going to do my best to decipher what you're attempting to say. You downloaded some program (name unknown) that gives you an error with your display driver. You are using onboard graphics.

Please list the specs of your computer.
When you say 3D, do you mean actual 3D when wearing the special glasses? If so, you aren't going to get 3D from onboard graphics period.

We want to help but, please make an effort to clearly communicate WTH you're trying to say. :)

No not 3D where you have to were classes. I don't know what it is. I think its just cause the display drivers or w.e is so old on my monitor that its giving me problems. I am not exactly sure though. I am using windows 7 64 bit.

Ok. In order for 3D vision to work, you need a 3d vision kit(Which I think you already own) and an Nvidia GPU. It does not work with your on-board graphics.

Just so we have things straight , do you just want to play a game and it says your 3d display driver is causing an error?

You can't have 3d vision, thats something different and only works with a Nvidia card.

If you having problems with just regular games we can help.

Edit: but your integrated graphics won't play crap to be honest, you will need at least a cheap 75$ card.

I am sorry, I am not much into Nvidia cards. I am sure some one will chime in to help you. I can find GT 240 and GTS 250 in your price range, but i have no idea how they perform relative to you 9800GT.

No 3d for you with ATi - at least not quite yet. There are some programs to create a glasses 3d effect but I haven't heard consistent results from it.

Why didnt the 9800gt work with your setup? I think it would be the best match for you at least from Nvidia. Are you sure it didn't work - or you just didn't know how to properly set it up. No offense but you sound like you are pretty new at this.

Yes, give us your system specs.

After that, best thing to do is boot into safe mode, uninstall nvidia from cpanel all of them. Then run driver sweeper found at www.guru3d.com and tick nvidia and clean. Then reboot into normal mode and install latest WHQL drivers.. gl let us know what happens.
