3D apps not loading correctly or at all

Ok, I've recently had some problems with the pc in my sig. After around 15 or more minutes of usage, if I try to start up a 3D game, such as battlefield 2, the FPS in the game becamse really low. Like, the intro movies, which are usually around 98-100 fps, drop to anywhere between 30-70 and are noticeably slower. Also, sometimes when I try to open BF2, the screen will turn black and a message appears on my monitor that says "No Signal" or something like that. What could be the problem?
 
You didn't post your power supply so I can't be certain, but it sounds as though you have a power issue when the card is under full load.
 
PSU : Rosewill RP500

I'm hoping the problem is with the vid card. I hate it. Along with everything else MSI has to offer.
