Don't know if this was already posted, but I feel like I must get this out there!
Quoted from the website:
"3D-Analyze is a tool for transform and lightning hardware emulation. So it is very useful for running TnL games on video cards that have not on board dedicated circuits for TnL calculations (like all Voodoo, Kyro, some Radeon and older). It uses power of central processing unit to do emulation.
3d analyze is a Graphics Card Emulator that can emulate all the feature of a 3d graphics card like pixelshader 1.1, 1.4, 2.0, bump maps and a lota stuff. If a game stops running on your system just because u dont have a graphics card, dont worry 3d analyze will do it for ya. run 3danalyze select the game exe, select a few options u wanna emulate and there u go the game run perfectly now."

Don't mind the Spanish link, they have an English section as well. Unfortunately it looks like too few people know about this, so their forum has very little posts and there is not much discussion going on, but there is a devoted community, mostly consisting of those that own the 3dfx Voodoo cards. (maybe I am missing something here and Voodoos are somehow superior to all other ancient video cards?)
Anyway, the point is this thing WORKS and definitely NOT just with Voodoos! Somehow people were able to run Doom3 on an ancient card. There is plenty of screenshots in the forum. Someone managed to run Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War, and Half Life 2 on a very old system.
Doom3 looks like crap, stripped of most of it's eye candy and looking more like the original doom. But HL2 and DOW actually looks very impressive. To me, it's shocking that something like this is even possible.
I tested 3D-Analyze on EVE and was able to emulate things like shader model, DX 8.1 (which is not even supported officially), and other things. Some people in EVE forums had success running with integrated gfx.
Do yourself a favor and check it out! I figured if more people know about this, there's no telling what might be accomplished.
