3Com Office Connect 56K lan modem

Anyone else use this 4 port hub/56k modem combo beside me????

Dropping connection after several hours playing online games (everquest) but games work fine with a locally attached modem.

Thinking of the 3com home gateway because it is one of the few cablemodem/dsl routers that also includes a serial port for an external modem, but if my experience with this piece of #$#$@ is any indication, I'm staying away from 3com network products in the future.
 
I have this combo. It usually works great with Earthlink. Although I was having a lot of problems a few weeks ago. I sometimes get knocked off every 30 hours or so.
