3com modem drivers where? Not on 3com's website. WHere to now?

My new system will not recognize my 2 year old 56k 3com modem, which is made my US Roboticks (their name is on the back of the modem). This is a generic model, with no # on it. It was in my Quantex system from 1999.

WinME cannot understand what type it is and every type I have tried fails. I could not find any drivers on 3com's website. Just drivers for more modern PC cards.

So what should I do to get this thing working? No, I do NOT want to buy another modem. This is for a backup in case my DSL line goes down.
