3Com 905-TX or Intel 8255x NIC

My friend is going to give me a NIC. I can choose between a 3Com 905-TX and Intel 8255x based NIC. Both are 10/100, name brand, very reliable and fast among all NICs on the market. So which one should I pick? Which one offers faster connection or more features?

I don't know too much about the features of both cards but I've had 3COM 905B-TX I believe it was...and I am currently using an Intel Pro10/100+. I like the intel out of convenience because at least for me it was easier to install and deal with since previous versions of windows(win2k pro, win98SE, winME) recognized the NIC during installation and installed the drivers automatically.
