Hello all,
Just got this in email. Sounds too good to be true:
"You're Invited to a Special Offer
You are invited to take advantage of an exclusive offer to evaluate a 3Com® LAN+Modem PC Card with either Type III integrated connector or Autosensing XJACK® Connector for only $59. From October 15, 2001 - November 30, 2001, click on 3com.web-forms.com/webform/alien.asp to get your eval unit. These PC Cards have been tested at up to 41% faster LAN speeds and 23% faster modem speeds than the competition, so you can increase your productivity with a better performing card. The card is yours to keep for just $59 - that's over 65% off the list price, so place your order today.
Offer is while supplies last. Limit one PC Card per end user customer site. For complete list of terms and conditions, go to 3com.web-forms.com/webform/alien.asp."
I don't really have a need for it though it sounds like a steal for $59. If I ever get a laptop I'll get integrated ethernet anyway, and the fact that the site is web-forms.com and not 3com had me suspicious.
Still, might be good for some folks.
