3Com 3C980C EtherLink Server 10/100 in Win98??

I've heard this is a great NIC, so I've got one coming. I'm using a Linksys LNE100 TX based NIC at present.

I'm dual booting W2K and Win'98. There are drivers for W2K/NT, but none are listed for '98.

Does anyone know if I can use generic TX drivers for this NIC in Win '98? I doubt that I will be able to take advantage of all the cards features, but I want to be on my home network when using Win'98.

Thanks!

I don't know if it's worth the hassle to have two different nic's in the same computer. I doubt you'll see a speed difference between the two unless the 3com has server features you need.
