3c574 pcmcia in slack8

can someone tell me what module I want to load for this nic? haven't loaded it on a lappy before and netconfig only does pci. can I load a generic pcmcia driver like in redhat and suse?

However, if you are using the default installation of slackware for your laptop, the pcmcia bus should just load it for you. If you have recompiled the kernel, you are going to have to choose the driver for the card under Network Device Support -> PCMCIA Network Device Support

Just make sure you choose pcmcia bus support first (under General Setup -> PCMCIA/CardBus support), otherwise you will not be able to select the module for your card to compile.
