3870x2 Beta Drivers available (080123a)

It does seem every review using these drivers show vastly improved FPS in games using the 3870x2, I still haven't recieved my card, ordered last Saturday from a store in GA but it shipped from California and the damn card is sitting in FedEX warehouse waiting to be delivered Monday, they won't let me come pick it up today LOL I hate FedEx. So I haven't been able to confirm for myself, I did download and they do appear to be the 080123a drivers so if you are getting impatient waiting for the ATI WHQL's give them a try and let us know what's up!

Dang, if my merchandise was sitting in a local warehouse that I could drive to, I'd be driving there and not leaving until I got my package. There's no reason for them to hold the package if they already got paid and you're willing to drive there to get it. Seems like it'd save them some money by having you handle the last leg of the trip.

I won't be able to order mine until after my tax refund arrives, which cannot be filed until 11 Feb, so likely the end of Feb. At least the official 8.2 Cats will likely be released by then.

Yep, It's aggravating to say the least They actually told me on the phone the facility was closed although checking on the website it showed they were open. Problem is I couldn't call them because the only number FedEx gives is the 800 number not the number of the individual centers! The worst part is it takes Fedex 7 days to get a package from California to Florida. This is the first time I've ever ordered something on a Saturday and not recieved it before the following weekend. Going to stick to UPS and USPS from now on rather than pull my hair out over this

Curious to know wether to install these drivers or the ones that come on the CD though? Anyone tried them yet?

dude, you can get your tax refund asap these days. I sell cars and we do it for our customers all the time. um, if you're also buying a car, however, don't spend all of the refund on computer parts

Report your findings when you get the card. I'd really like to see what the updated drivers do.
