Pretty interesting, mixing different model video cards in order to get more performance. Never thought this would work.

Looks interesting. I have been wary of multi-GPU solutions because everyone keeps talking about driver issues, but in review both Xfire and SLI solutions perform great. With XFire supporting multiple monitors, I might try it out at some point in the future.

EDIT: Though since 3870 X2 is available, and it looks like more dual-gpu cards are in the pipeline for both makers, I might just go with that. I do need something though. My 8800GTS 320MB is really struggling in modern games at 1920x1200...
