3850 AGP. Is there a definite, actual date of release?

Nope, last time I saw the announcements that was it, an announcement, WITHOUT any dates of release mentioned. That goes for powercolor and the other brand, peak ? Not sure what the other one was.

The only date I've seen so far is in a response from Powercolor to a guru3d user:

This card will release on 3~4 weeks of Jan, and price would be around
$200. Currently we are waiting the driver to be ready.

I believe they are all waiting for ATi to release their next driver so that they can bundle it with their video cards and ship them out. I read somewhere on fudzilla that ATi would be releasing their new drivers on the 23rd of Jan. Of course, 3rd party manufacturers like sapphire and gecube might get the newest driver release well before that.

(Yes, Gecube released their 3850 agp and on the website it says they are already shipping it out)

So a good guess for a release date would be the last week of january to early feb.
