I got the 3820 for this reason, so I can upgrade to 6 core.
the rig is fast and fine. But I wouldnt mind seeing 12 threads. its 950 dollars about 1k for fastest desktop chip ever. 4960x is it worth double price almost.
How much does having 15MB L3 isntead of 12MB L3 What else different is it
Also if I can overclock to 5Ghz ? thanks guys...
