3800 dual core and a 7900 gt ?

no it wont. not at all but may i suggest opteron 165 and 7900 gt? only because the opteron 165 has more l2 cache and can over clock way more. but unless your into overclocking great combo...might even wanna get 2 7900's. i will not be overclocking on stock will a 3800 dual core bottleneck the 7900 gt ?

also i will be using a reguler LCD Monitor at 1280x1024

only reason i ask is that i heard that 2.2 ghz is the sweet place for a cpu to be for video cards i read it in a article somewhere

and the 3800 is only 2.0ghz

umm to be honest in current games it might be a slight bottleneck which is why i overclocked. but very soon all games will be dual core optimized and any dual core will work just fine. ( oblivion is gunna be dual core optimized YES ! YES! YES!)
