ok, 38 cents a gallon might be too low, still though I think anything under $1 a gallon is good
the gas companies don't.
Funny, they did in 1999. I was buying gasoline for $0.78 per gallon in August of 1999.

It's always amusing to me that for some reason people assume that gasoline is completely exempt from the laws of supply and demand. It's always those greedy oil companies. Never mind that gas is still cheaper in real dollars than it has usually been throughout history. Never mind that gas is still cheaper in the US than almost anywhere else in the world. Never mind that most of the cost of a gallon of gasoline is taxes.

It's just human nature. You give someone something at a given price, they take that for granted, and then whine when the price goes up. Look how much griping goes on here amongst us nerds when memory prices go up. No one can fathom why they're so high....it's unfair....blah, blah, blah.

anyone know if its possible we'll see 38 cents a gallon for gas after we invade Iraq and take all their oil? Because Im pissed at paying $29 at the pump for a full tank of gas, not sure about you guys but i dont have money flying out my butt.

You're the one who bought a vehicle that isn't fuel efficient. People in other countries pay a lot more for gas than we do. An extra $20-$40 a month isn't going to kill you.
You want war for cheap gas? Sad.
If there is going to be a war it's because Saddam wants to drop nasty chemical weapons on us (or something along those lines). Gas prices are the least of my worries.

I'm gonna mod my car to run on milk. Cheaper that way.

How is that possible? 😉

If I remember correctly... a gallon of milk costs more than a gallon of gas in a majority of all places..

1.61 / gallon for gas here.... about 2.79 for a gallon of milk... I think I'll pass on your "milk mod" 😉

Maybe it would be cheaper if you had you own cow :Q How many quarts? gallons? can a cow produce in a day? Milk her once for the morning drive to work, then if you need more milk maybe the boss will let you milk his cow so you get home? :Q

Now that would be sweet... There would be nothing like owning a couple of cows in your back yard.. Every morning , run out to the back, *squirt squirt*.. and fill 'er up... Top off again in the evening

:Q

hahaha

I dont know aout you guys but the thought of 38 cents of gallon for gas makes me say to hell with Iraq, lets bomb them and take all their oil!

Why don't you rape their children while you're there? Or do you want someone else to do your dirty work for you?
