Wow! It's that cold already? I lived there for a while, but I don't remember it ever got that cold this early. My girlfriend just got a promotion that requires us to move up there. We're in the process of looking for a home in either NW Portland or John's Landing. I'm hoping for a slim pick so that we can stay here in sunny and warm SoCal.

BTW, Vegas is very cold in the winter. There was ice in the waterfall in front of the Mirage the last time we were there.

Cool. ;) I don't think it's going to stay this cold from now on, just a little cold spell.. the daytime temps rebound nicely, it's 60 here right now. Although I wouldn't mind if it froze and started snowing right now. ;)

Yeah, I moved here from Mississippi. I hate the weather here. Flood, then drought, now bitter cold with dry air, yet it's raining. How the humidity can be so low here is beyond me. It's made me sick a lot.
For your sake, I hope you don't have too many problems with your sinuses. This climate sucks for those who do (I have a few problems with headaches and stuff every now and then, but my problems are nothing compared to those of some people that I know). Honestly, I think you should have stayed in Mississippi; you'd be a lot happier there. :)

One positive thing, though; this weather is quite conducive to staying inside, which means that there's all the more time for homework and playing with one's computers. :D

So what town do you live in?

3.3°C isn't even near cold. Around -5°C I usually put on a long shirt and around -10°C have to put on a jacket. -20°C (-4°F) is cold ;)

cold = best.weather.EVAR.

I say you're crazy. Give me 108° with 100% humidity and 10+ UV index all year long!

WTF? You're crazy. I'd like weather in the 70s with moderate humidity all year long. :)

If you're in a room with 85F temperature, then your room is heated somehow or your thermometer is broken.

it's 75 in my unheated room in the bay area, right by the water. so it could be 85 easy for him.

Wow, i'm amazed... I was gone all weekend, didn't expect to see this thread still here. ;)

45° here right now..

I hope we have a cold/wet winter. We haven't had a good snow year here since like '95.

Here in Indiana too. It's going to be 24°F for the low.

That's just obscene.

Hmm, I don't see anything in the local forecast about snow, but it's going to be getting down into the 20s at night, so it's certainly possible. :disgust:

The AP wire forcast says a chance. It's supposed to be 23F Friday night here.

Stupid winter.
