Unfortunately there aren't any bundles for the 3770k at MC, which is kind of a bummer. They are bundling the 3750k tough.

I can't find any more bundles on MC's site. Looks like just really good pricing on mobos. Doesn't say I have to get an i5 with one.

When you add the 3570K to the cart it'll subtract 50 from whatever mobo you pair it with. With the 3770K it doesnt

So that's a $150 premium for the 3770k? Damn near can get 2x 3570k for that price... hmm do they even make dual socket Intel boards anymore? Probably a server board that requires registered dimms or something...

Page 27 of their catalog states:
2500K
2700K
3570K
Save $50 when paired with a Z68 or Z77 chipset motherboard.

That's good through the end of this month. Their deal always changes, yet mostly stays the same. 😀

Find a friend that lives too far from a Microcenter whom is looking to upgrade. Then buy a i5-3570k with a z77 board to get the discount bundle price... sell the i5-3570k to your friend for a minor loss (say no tax or shipping to your friend) at $189.99 (but keep the z77 mobo), make a minor profit, etc whatever you want to do because at $189.99 for the i5-3570k is still cheaper than most places... once you sold the i5-3570k go get the i7-3770k... heck just do this before buying so you save an extra trip...

Don't know about your local MC, but the one I usually go to won't let me buy more than one CPU (of any kind) per month.

Maybe it's because I usually show up with a buddy that goes there really often? :sneaky:

Price randomly dropped to $259.99, so I ordered for in-store pickup. I'm worried they might give me shit now since the price just went right back up to $289.99....
