I keep getting the following in logs

.Jan 21 11:20:52.313: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te1/0/1: Rx power high alarm; Operating value: -2.9 dBm, Threshold value: -40.0 dBm.
.Jan 21 11:20:52.321: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te1/0/1: Tx power high alarm; Operating value: -3.1 dBm, Threshold value: -40.0 dBm.
.Jan 21 11:26:18.799: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te2/0/1: Temperature high warning; Operating value: 32.9 C, Threshold value: 0.0 C.
.Jan 21 11:26:18.808: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te2/0/1: Rx power high alarm; Operating value: -2.5 dBm, Threshold value: -40.0 dBm.
.Jan 21 11:26:18.816: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te2/0/1: Tx power high alarm; Operating value: -2.6 dBm, Threshold value: -40.0 dBm.
.Jan 21 11:30:52.518: %SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Te1/0/1: Temperature high warning; Operating value: 31.0 C, Threshold value: 0.0 C.

Im guessing this is because the parameters need set (im sure the SFP are going to be over 0.0C) is there a way to either disable these messages in logs, or change the parameters so they are within a real range? This is happening on nearly 100 switches

Registered under Cisco bug: CSCsz81516 for IOS 12.2(46) not sure if it has been resolved yet or not.

Is the IOS version up to date on them?

* also I assume real cisco transievers?

Not 100% up to date, but nothing ancient.

Version 12.2(53)SE2

If its a code bug I dont think i can make the case to upgrade based on some bogus errors in the logs.

Read the release notes for the newer code, im not seeing anything related to a fix for it, i guess its something im going to have to live with

We're running 12.2(46)SE on our 3750E, but we don't have this issue.
What's your "show int te1/0/1 transceiver detail" & "show int te2/0/1 transceiver detail" output look like?

Is 0 Celsius your low or high threshold?
